Early this morning, I recreated a sub-domain at blogspot.com using my full name – shihengcheong.blogspot.com. Despite using my name in the sub-domain, I decided to name title this blog: Coolest SEO Blogger after thinking for some time that it would be fun to be ranked for the search terms coolest seo blogger or coolest seo guy on blogger!
It’s just plain vanity and for boosting one’s ego…
Currently, I do not have a good enough picture to stick it on the homepage. Instead, I’ve got a hand shake picture which I downloaded from sxc.hu. If you’ve not tried this free service, go get it now.

Mystery Shopping
Recently, I got some PLR articles on mystery shopping and mystery shoppers. I don’t think I can just use them as is. I’ll need to spend some time to rewrite before publishing them at the domain, MysteryShopping.sg.
Singapore Shopping Guide
Here, I’ll port the article from the shopping section of my Singapore business directory, www.singaporebusiness.info to www.singapore-shopping-guide.com
I’ll to use Wordpress for both domains. I’ve even decided the template to use – WP Color Theme.
The reason I chose this theme is the Adsense ready and SEO friendly. I highly recommend this WP Color Theme for blog related to e-commerce.

I made some changes to the workshop syllabus. More time was spent on HTML and FTP so that the participants can be familiar with the tools provided for making web pages. I’ve included a demonstration on Paint.NET to show the cropping and resize of images for web pages to reduce the file size and loading time.
The next SEO Web Design Course is scheduled on 4-5 May 2007 at SIM Management House.
In May, beside the SEO workshop, I will also be giving a talk on search marketing to the RMIT Alumni Association on 16 May 2007.

I’ve neglected this blog for a couple weeks. Busy mah! Spring cleaning before Chinese New Year and pigging myself during CNY. And then I’ve got 2 days SEO training coming up the next 2 days. I’ve been spending the last 10 days or so preparing for this training.
Oh yes. I’ve have submitted a press release on the SEO Web Design training too. And I think it brought in some traffic but sales. It’s ok. I’ll make it an investment – a long term one. 
This time round, I’ve some VIPs – a doctor and a lady from Terengganu to attend the SEO training at SIM Management House. I’m looking forward to help them with search engine optimization and search marketing.

I am customizing the default Kubrick theme to use on my own blogs. Beside the header colored banner which you can change the color and graduation, I think the rest should be doable.
I have managed to alter the sidebar. Sidebar is important since this is where your can lead your readers to other pages on your website and reduce the chances that they will press the back button or worse , leave your blog entirely.

Shi [舒] is my family name and also my first name. It is common in Singapore to address a person, especially a friend by the family name.
